5:00 Kempton, Dama Bianca
1pt e/w @ 8.00 SkyBet, William Hill, BetVictor, BoyleSports
(4 places @ 1/5)
‘Dubai Tigress’ who ran so well for us and looked a shade unlucky not to win last time lines up in this race and although she might well win, I thought there were a couple of unluckier horses in that last race, that had it been run again, might have finished ahead of her, suggesting that even though it was a good run and value at 20/1 on the day, she may have been slightly flattered by her 2nd place finish.
So that said, and at a much bigger price for tomorrow’s race, I fancy Dama Bianca to be better value as she’s only raced twice, and after catching the eye here on her debut run, staying on well after a tardy start into 6th, she broke better the next time to find herself at the front which might not have suited, and although well beat into 6th that day, she still kept on going once passed and wasn’t given a hard time at Newcastle’s much stiffer track. She should enjoy the return to Kempton and from an ideal draw in stall 3 with Hollie Doyle booked to ride, I think she looks the value pick in what looks bar a couple, a very week race.

5:30 Kempton, Purple Paddy
1pt win @ 11.00 Bet365, BetVictor, BoyleSports, 888SPort, Betfred, Betway
We had ‘Dusty Damsel’ last time and although she might win, she was a much bigger price and better value then and with having her quirks, I’m willing to oppose her at around 7/1. A lot could depend on how much pace there is in this race so I’ve gone for a horse that should cover both scenarios and Purple Paddy is the one I want to be on should a good pace transpire. he’s not won for just over a year but he’s run well in a number of competitive races including at this track last time despite finishing just 6th. He came from a long way back off a good pace that day and considering the ground he covered in a short space of time, it was no surprise to see him run out of puff inside the final 150 yards. Tomorrow’s race looks much weaker and if he gets the race run to suit then he should go well.

5:30 Kempton, Compass Point
1pt win @ 7.00 SkyBet, William Hill, BetVictor, BoyleSports, Betway
Won in a good time at Southwell last time which was no doubt helped by a change of tactics. On the pace from the get-go and taking up the running 3f from home, he never looked like getting caught. He’s racing under a 5lb penalty tomorrow on this different surface, but he ran well here in October in a decent 0-70 handicap, and if the change of tactics works again tomorrow, then he should also go well in this poor 0-52 handicap. But if his jockey does press on from his wide draw then he might get into a pace dual with Misu Pete, which in turn could set the race up for a closer like Purple Paddy.
