GeekyGambler is operated by Matching Visions, an affiliate marketing company founded in 2017 that works with UKGC-licensed operators across the gambling industry. The site is edited by Christian Nielsen, who has spent over a decade working in casino affiliate SEO and has firsthand experience with how UK operators handle deposits, withdrawals, bonus mechanics and KYC.
Our editorial process
Every casino we review goes through the same process:
- Sign up with a real account and complete UKGC-mandated KYC verification.
- Deposit £20-50 and make at least 30 real-money wagers across slots and live dealer.
- Trigger a withdrawal and time how long it actually takes to land — not what the site claims.
- Test customer support response times across live chat, email and phone.
- Read the bonus terms in full and verify any wager-free or cashback claims are honoured.
Only after this process do we write the review. Editorial scoring weights are: bonus terms (20%), game library quality (20%), withdrawal speed (25%), customer support (15%), platform usability (10%), regulatory record (10%).
How we make money
GeekyGambler is funded by affiliate commissions from UKGC-licensed casinos. If you click a link to a casino on this site and register, we may receive a commission. This does not change your deposit, bonus, or any aspect of your experience at the casino. Crucially, it does not influence our editorial scoring or written reviews — we score operators we have no relationship with on the same scale as operators that pay us.
If we cannot recommend a casino, we say so. Several major UK operators we have reviewed do not earn a featured slot on our homepage, despite being commercially significant, because they do not meet our editorial threshold.
