Pragmatic Play has launched Ra vs Osiris, a new video slot that continues the studio’s ‘vs’ concept — previously used to great effect in Zeus vs Hades Gods of War, which Bigwinboard named its Slot of the Year for 2023. This time, the setting shifts from Greek mythology to ancient Egypt, with the sun god Ra squaring off against Osiris, ruler of the underworld.
The core appeal of the format remains intact: players select one of two modes before spinning, each offering a different risk profile. Ra mode is classified as highly volatile with an RTP of 96.53%, while Osiris mode steps up to very highly volatile at 96.54% RTP. Where multiple multipliers contribute to the same win, they are added together rather than multiplied.
Free spins are triggered by three, four, or five scatters, awarding six spins with minimum multiplier values of x2, x4, or x8 respectively. Before the round starts, players can gamble on a wheel to push that minimum multiplier higher — up to x100 — though the entire bonus round is forfeited if the gamble fails. During free spins, Expanding Wilds also become Walking Wilds, shifting one reel to the left on each respin until they leave the grid.
