Germany Hit Seven in World Cup Opener

The second half brought no respite for Curaçao. Musiala extended the lead in the 47th minute, making it four within two minutes of the restart. Brown added a fifth in the 68th minute, and Undav got in on the act in the 78th minute to make it six.
Havertz rounded off the scoring in the 88th minute, claiming his second of the match and completing a 7–1 final scoreline that leaves little doubt about Germany’s intent at this tournament.
The result sees Germany take three points from their opening fixture at the top of Group E.
