Wahi Detained Over Suspicious Betting Activity
Ivory Coast World Cup striker Elye Wahi was arrested and questioned by French police on 29 May as part of an ongoing corruption investigation into suspicious betting patterns, according to reports by The Athletic and confirmed by the Marseille prosecutor’s office.
